The "Overwatch" Anniversary Event has been participated by the game's avid players, which started early this week. Unfortunately, the event was not at all successful as a lot of fans have raised their complaints against the developer.

The Anniversary Event is obviously a venue for new skins, which fans expect to be getting annually. The skins are undeniably one of the strongest batch of skins delivered to its characters, and players are more than happy to purchase them.

Although Blizzard has wanted the Anniversary Event to end with great success for "Overwatch" fans, certain issues in the loot boxes which contains all the anniversary goodies did not satisfy the fans.

The 11 legendary skins which every player wants to have costs 33,000 credits, which, according to players, is too overwhelming, and impossible to acquire. Furthermore, other items such as, emotes, sprays which are only available for a limited time cost 3,000 coins, and if purchased individually costs 750 coins.

Game director, Jeff Kaplan has immediately responded to the complaints stating that they have been following the threads and discussion in the "Overwatch" community. The complaints have been acknowledged, and Kaplan wanted the fans to know that Blizzard is listening. Also, Kaplan mentioned that Blizzard has no immediate action on the issue.

Although there is no confirmation yet if Blizzard will change its plans regarding the loot boxes, it can be recalled that Blizzard has very good track record in meeting the players' requests. Fans will have to wait on Blizzard's decision for the rest of the anniversary period.

For now, players will have to work hard on getting the special items offered in the loot box until June 12. Stay tuned for more "Overwatch" news and update.
