"Injustice 2" has already an astonishing set of DC characters in the roster to the likes of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Joker, Harley Quinn to the least well-known like Blue Beetle, Cheetah, Firestorm, Doctor Fate, Gorilla Grodd and many more.

With new DLC details being announced soon, gaming fans are wondering which character will be featured in "Injustice 2's" post-launch plans this year?

Past reports revealed that Boon teased several characters like Starfire and Red Hood throughy Twitter polls, something that gaming fans wanted to have in "Injustice 2" due to their popularity in the comics and other forms of media.

NetherRealm Studios could be pushing forward in having Starfire and Red Hood in the roster, or even have lesser known DC characters like Plastic Man, The Huntress or Etrigan the Demon in "Injustice 2," WWG reported.

There is also the possibility of having the Watchmen in the "Injustice 2," not to mention guest characters outside DC comics like Spawn and "Mortal Kombat's" Sub-Zero.

NetherRealm Studio previously explained the Multiverse Mode in "Injustice 2," which acts like the "Living Tower" in "Mortal Kombat X."

Gamers can select select missions and play out short story lines through a series of fights that will earn player's unique gear and exclusive rewards. They are all special themed and timed challenges that players will need to survive through out the game mode.

"Injustice 2" will launch on May 16 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
