In addition to the Light being taken out of the Guardians, the "Destiny 2" invite also revealed the fates of the Traveler and the Ghosts in the game. The invitation points out that the Traveler is now dormant in the game, since the Light has faded and their is an image of a lifeless Ghost in the invitation hinting that they too, no longer without the Light.
