The Google Pixel camera is dubbed as the best smartphone camera ever and to prove it, the Mountain View company uploaded several photos taken with he smartphone.

The photos, which had a #NoFilter caption, ranged from people to landscapes and fruits. The collection highlighted the Pixel camera's ability to capture clear stills even in low-light conditions or in motion. A 4K video recorded with the camera was also revealed.

Google Camera Exec Isaac Reynolds posted the pictures on Google Photos.It is worth mentioning that the Pixel set a new record for having the highest mark which the DxOMark has ever given out at 89 points. It ranks above the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, the Sony Xperia X Performance and the HTC 10.

The 4K video that was recorded with the Pixel XL is currently making rounds online. The smartphone can capture 4K videos at 30 fps and 1080p at 120 fps and 720p at 240 fps. The Google Pixel comes with a 12 megapixels rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture, and an 8 megapixels selfie snapper with f/2.4 aperture. Google is targeting photographers with the new Pixel phones and aims to replace the Apple iPhone camera which is currently the most used snapper on image hosting website Flickr.

Other specs of the Google Pixel include a 5-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad HD screen and 32 GB or 128 GB of internal storage. The smartphone also comes with a 2,770 mAh battery with USB Type-C charging.

The Google Pixel XL has received a price tag in the United States, and the 32 GB Verizon variant is now on sale on Best Buy for $744.
