Acer has officially announced its new smartphone, the Acer Liquid Zest Plus that comes with impressive features like tri-focus camera and a huge 5000 mAh battery.

Acer Liquid Zest Plus is the newest midrange smartphone from the Taiwanese firm. The smartphone was showcased in New York City, U.S. on April 22 alongside couple of laptops. Even though the company unveiled the smartphone, it did not reveal all of its specifications, Phone Arena reported.

The smartphone features a large screen of 5.5 inches. Since it is a midrange phone, it carries support for HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The company did not reveal the details of the chipset that present under the hood of Acer Liquid Zest Plus, GSM Arena reported.

Speculations suggest that the smartphone is powered by MediaTek MT6753 chipset that features a quad-core processor that clocks at 1.3 GHz along with Mali-T720 graphics. Other rumors suggest that it may feature the older Snapdragon 410 chipset. The chipset is expected to be supported at least by 2 GB of RAM. It is rumored to feature 16 GB of native storage.

Acer has announced that the Liquid Zest Plus will be equipped with a 13 MP tri-focus camera. It means that the camera will make us of three autofocus features namely, phase detection autofocus, laser autofocus and contrast detection. It is rumored to feature a 5 MP camera.

Acer has revealed that the Liquid Zest Plus features a massive battery of 5000 mAh capacity. It is expected to launch in the U.S. with a price tag of $250.

At the launch event of Liquid Zest Plus, the Taiwanese firm had also unveiled other products like such as Predator 17X gaming laptop, Predator G1 gaming desktop, Chromebook 14 for Work, Aspire S 13 and Switch Alpha 12. Even though Acer has not revealed the entire specifications of Chromebook 14 for Work, it claims that it is the fastest ever Chromebook.

The Aspire S 13 that features a 13.3-inch screen, 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB SSD and a battery that can last for 13 hours has been designed to take on MacBook Air and Dell XPS 13. It is powered by the sixth generation Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors. Other features include USB 3.0, HDMI and microSD card.

The Acer Switch Alpha 12 is a 2-in-1 detachable PC that is equipped with liquid cooling technology. It is powered by i3, i5, and i7 variants of sixth generation intel Core processors. It features a 12-inch screen, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and an inbuilt kickstand.
