New "Star Wars Battlefront" details will feature a scheduled server maintenance upgrade and new maps, characters and game features for the "Outer Rim" DLC.

DICE and Electronic Arts released a new trailer for "Star Wars Battlefront" which features the new DLC expansion, "Outer Rim" from its new characters, maps to its latest weapons and game modes. The DLC will have players control two new characters from the "Star Wars" franchise, Niem Nunb for the Rebel Alliance and Greedo for the Galactic Empire.

The "Outer Rim" DLC will also include three new game maps such as Jabba the Hutt's palace, the sail barge garage and Nunb's home planet of Sullust. Gamers can use new weapons in the game sucg as the Relby V-10 rifle and DT-12 blaster pistol. In addition, players can collect and equip a Scatter Gun, Dioxis Grenade, and Adrenaline Stim Star Cards.

There is also new games mode for "Star Wars Battlefront" such as "Extraction" which allow players a=to protect a package from Stormtroopers and "Spectator Mode" which is free for all players with a title update this week. So far, DICE and EA have not yet given out any details regarding what "Spectator Mode" can do within "Star Wars Battlefront".

The "Outer Rim" DLC is stated to launch in March 22, which contradicts the April 5 release date listing in GameStop and it will cost around $14.99, Polygon reported.

In other news, "Star Wars Battlefront" will have a scheduled server maintenance upgrade this week as a preparation for the "Outer Rim" DLC expansion.

According to community manager Matthew Everett that update will last for an hour as gamers will first have the upgrade for the PC, then in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.

The update will start first on March 22 for the "Outer Rim" DLC general patch at 08:00 UTC for the PC, 10:00 UTC for the PS4 and 12:00 UTC for the Xbox One.

For the DLC owners, the update starts at 13:00 UTC for the PC, 14:00 UTC for the PS4 SCEA & SCEE and 15:00 UTC for the Xbox One.

Lastly, DLC season pass users in both Japan and parts of Aisa will have the "Star Wars Battlefront" upgrade on March 23 at 04:00 UTC for PS4 Asia and 02:00-05:00 UTC for PS4 Japan.

"Star Wars Battlefront" is currently available in stores for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and for the PC.
