Google has been working on developing keyboard for iOS devices.

Shazam in an attempt to keep ahead of the curve, has announced a deep integration with Google Play Music. It means that using Shazam should become a lot more fun and intuitive going forward, and that is not a bad thing after all.

According to the latest reports from SlashGear, Shazam's integration with Google Play is very interesting. The integration mainly works with Google Play Music where folks can identify any form of music with Shazam and use Google Play Music right from the app to listen to or buy the music. Furthermore, should folks wish, they can also start a radio station from that song.

It's a small feature, but that doesn't mean it is not useful. This is not a feature that will have new folks running to use Shazam, but it should keep current users from running off into the sunset where some other app is offering refuge of some sorts.

Shazam is not only supporting Google Play Music, according to Ubergizmo. The company has been supporting other apps such as Spotify, Pandora, Rhapsody and more for quite some time. Google Play Music is just the latest addition, so it should please the fans of Google's music service than anyone else, and Google itself.

As it stands right now, Google Play Music appears as if it will be the preferred partner for Shazam, and it may stay like this for quite some time, especially if Google is paying to keep it that way.

We have to say, we gave the new feature a spin and it was more than fantastic. It is just what we wanted but never knew beforehand. Folks who use Google Play Music on a regular basis will enjoy this a lot.

Shazam has not been releasing a lot of feature rich updates in recent times, a possible sign that app has matured. However, the developers need to come up with new ideas if they want to keep users coming back for more and to keep the business afloat. Competing apps are always trying new things, and soon one of them will innovate in ways that will force music lovers to think about switching from Shazam.

As for whether or not this feature is worth your time, we have to say, it is. We here at TeleGiz has been using this feature since it was made available and it is a breath of fresh air. To be able to gain access to Google Play Music direct from the app to purchase or listen to our favorite songs is a huge convenience. Still, there's a chance not all will find it useful, especially if they favor other music serivices that are not part of the overall Shazam package.
