Fallout 4 is an action-RPG video game created by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.

One of the biggest, and probably most successful, video game title launched in 2015 was "Fallout 4." Earlier this month, "Fallout 4" developer Bethesda Softworks announced that it is releasing a completely new concept for the game's Survival Mode.

While the announcement did excite the gaming community, Bethesda did not provide further details about its plans. That is until a devoted fan uncovered heaps of information about "Fallout 4" Survival Mode. The leaked information was, at first, too good to be true, until Bethesda confirmed that it was indeed accurate, according to Forbes.

Bethesda said that it is still working on the new mode. The developer said it is "still messing with" Survival Mode of "Fallout 4."

The following are some of the confirmed feature of "Fallout 4" Survival Mode.

With regards to saving the game, both Manual and Quick Saving features are disabled. For gamers to save their progress, they need to find a bed and spend at least an hour of sleep, according to Engadget.

Combat wise, the Survival mode is more lethal for gamers. While characters will deal more damage, they will, in turn, receive more damage as well. Additionally, gamers will have the ability to increase the damage they deal to enemies with the use of Adrenaline.

For the in-game compass, enemies will no longer appear on it. Additionally, fallen companions will not auto-revive.

In "Fallout 4" Survival Mode, the Fast Travel feature is completely disabled. Gamers will have to walk should they want to go from one point to another.

In an event that players contract disease, it must be cured or it will affect the character's SPECIAL stats. Lack of food, sleep or water will also cause characters to experience fatigue which affects their AP.

In "Fallout 4" Survival Mode, all forms of ammunitions have weight. Bullets weight less. However, larger items like mini-nukes and missiles will be very heavy. Additionally, characters that are overburdened will see a decrease in their stats and health.

Looting will be very hard in Survival Mode since enemy and loot repopulation will be at a significantly slower rate.

Bethesda has yet to confirm the release date of "Fallout 4" Survival Mode.
