Samsung released details about its first 256GB universal flash storage (UFS) designed for its next-generation high-end mobile devices. The company's Executive Vice President Joo Sun Choi stated that by providing high-density UFS memory that is twice as efficient as a SATA SSD for personal computers, they are also able to push for a paradigm shift within the mobile data storage market, Samsung News reported.

Samsung's new 256GB UFS will have a data transfer speed of over 850MB per second, which is twice as fast as a typical SATA-based SSD used in PCs. It will support over 260MBs in terms of sequential writing which is three times more efficient than high-performance external microSD cards. Reportedly, the device will be able to handle 45,000 input and 40,000 output operations per second (IOPS), both for reading and writing.

If rumors are true, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will be the best of its kind considering that an 8GB RAM is also speculated to come. With the changes, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 may be reaching that go-to handset standard for users, especially for those who would like to multitask from a handy device. An 8GB RAM could mean no slowdowns or lags.

While numerous are doubtful if this component could be featured in a pocket size Samsung Galaxy Note 6, Samsung has been on the works of experimenting with this innovation since 2015, GSM Arena reported.

Samsung even started manufacturing 8GB RAM chips for handsets in September 2015, which hinted that the future will see these chips finding their way into some of their devices.

Other purported Samsung Galaxy Note 6 features include a 5.8-inch Slim RGB AMOLED display, Sam Mobile reported. According to the report, the screen might be a pressure touch-sensitive tool that can work effectively with Stylus Pen.

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 resolution is a characteristic feature of the Samsung devices, while the battery capacity has also been upgraded to boost its performance. Also, the device will feature a quick charging technology that is expected to fully charge an empty battery in 10 minutes.
