New Asus laptops were recently introduced by the Taiwanese tech company during their Computex 2017 media conference. New ZenBook and VivoBook lineup are aimed at providing both beauty and powerful performance for enthusiasts.

The theme this year for Asus seemed to be related to prestige and practicality, as the company's Chairman Jonney Shih introduced "the world's thinnest convertible" and "the world's most prestigious laptop." Such references are highly connected to their latest products, championed by ZenBook Flip S (UX30) and ZenBook 3 Deluxe (UX490).

If size is your main concern for choosing a laptop, this year's Asus ZenBook Flip S is a winner. As claimed by the company, ZenBook Flip S is the world's thinnest convertible laptop, according to Rappler.

It is considered by many as one of the lightest laptops in the market today, with a weight of only 1.1 kilograms. The said device features 7th-generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor, showcasing 13.3-inch 4K touchscreen that supports an Asus Pen.

In terms of performance, the ZenBook Pro (UX550) will surely suffice. A testament to its power would be its award at Computex 2017- Best Choice Awards for Computing and System" category.

Moreover, another standout during the introduction of Asus laptops this year is the ZenBook 3 Deluxe. It used the same tagline of last year's ZenBook 3- the "world's most prestigious laptop."

As a highlight, the devices is considered by the company as the world's thinnest 14-inch laptop at 12.9mm thick, according to The Verge. Although details of the processor remain unclear, it is assumed that a Core i7 CPU is on board.

In the VivoBook department, Asus offers VivoBook S and VivoBook Pro. Upon seeing the devices, one cannot help but compare its looks with MacBook-Pro.

The VivoBook S sports a Core i7 processor and an Nvidia GTX 940MX GPU, while housed in an aluminum case. The VivoBook Pro, on the other hand, is a mid-range device with 15.6-inch 4K display priced at around $799.
