Nokia smartphones for 2017 were relatively successful in the market. However, apart from the previously launched Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6, rumor has it that high-end Nokia Android smartphones will soon be released.

Previous leaks and speculations pointed out that HMD Global will be releasing up to four new phones this year, according to Digital Trends. However, recent updates and reports online suggest that another set of high-end devices are to be released in the second half of 2017.

First on the list of the potential follow-up release would be the Nokia 9. Dubbed by Geekbench as "Unknown Heart," it is believed that the top-tier device will sport as much as 8GB of RAM.

Additional information about the device also revealed a potential 1.9GHz 8-core Qualcomm processor. Believed to be the Nokia 9 mentioned in every Nokia phones 2017 rumor mill, the said device scored 615 in the single-core category, while gaining 1116 in the multi-core score chart.

Another highly speculated Nokia smartphone for 2017 is the Nokia 8. It was previously listed online on a retail store for pre-sale, having a price of 3,188 yuan or more than $450. However, details of the device remained elusive up to now, giving the impression such listing could possibly be fake.

Although lacking any substantial backing, other sites have reported that instead of Snapdragon 821 or Snapdragon 835 powering the device, a much more midrange Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 could be equipped with it. Therefore, suggesting that Nokia 9 would be on top of the highly anticipated high-end device line-up from Nokia.

A fresh rumor also surfaced online concerning a possible Nokia 7 handset. However, similar to the previously mentioned high-end devices, technical details of such smartphone remains unconfirmed.

Despite not having any clear information about the highly anticipated high-end Nokia phones 2017, consumers are still longing for it to come. Until then, it is expected that reports and rumors will continue to proliferate online.
