Street Fighter 5 is an upcoming fighting video game developed by Capcom for the PlayStation 4 and PC platform.

The latest details for "Street Fighter 5" will feature a new patch update available, the next DLC character leaked and the Thailand stage taken out in the game.

It seems that the remastered Thailand stage in "Street Fighter 5" has been taken out as players on Steam and Reddit noticed in the game. According to Capcom, the reason for removing the stage is due to the background music of a Islamic prayer sounding like Arabic, which is a cultural error in their part, Polygon reported.

Although Thailand has a sizable Muslim population, the remastered stage in "Street Fighter 5" is explicitly filled with Buddhist iconography. The Thailand stage was first featured in "Street Fighter 2" as the final battlefield for the game's final boss, M.Bison.

Aside from the Thailand stage, Capcom launched the Capcom Pro-Tour themed DLC for "Street Fighter 5" this week as the content will support the circuit and add to the Capcom Cup prize pool.

The Capcom Pro-Tour 2017 content in "Street Fighter 5" comes with a new stage and costumes for Ryu, Ken etc. There will also be a Capcom Pro Tour 2017 Premier Pass on offer.

Those who purchase the Capcom Pro Tour 2017 Premier Pass will be able to participate in new in-game events, starting in June. The events include completing online targets such as winning Ranked Matches to redeem Fight Money.

The bundle includes all CPT costumes, a new stage, plus two titles, PlayStation 4 exclusive CPT-themed color for all 28 characters and the aforementioned monthly in-game targets that reward Fight Money.

The Capcom Pro Tour DLC will end on November, just before Capcom Cup 2017 as 30 percent of the revenue from the content will go toward the event's prize pool, and an additional 50 percent of the revenue is invested into the production.  In short 80 percent of revenue from the Capcom Pro Tour 2017 content will support the event.

Lastly, the next DLC character for "Street Fighter 5" has been leaked online as the new fighter has been revealed to be Ed, Destructoid reported.

Ed made his debut in "Street Fighter 4" as one of the many spare bodies created by M. Bison, but was stolen by Seth in one of his S.I.N. laboratories. He was found by Balrog and taken under his wing as his protege.

The character posses psycho powers and has appeared in the DLC story of "Street Fighter 5" alongside Balrog. Ed will be joining the likes of Akuma and Kolin in the game, and it is unknown as to when will Capcom official announce the character to the public.

"Street Fighter 5" is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
