It was last month that Capcom stated that they will plans to revamp "Street Fighter 5's" online component. These changes were put to the test earlier this month during a PC beta, which showcased improvements like a new penalty system for rage-quitters, better matchmaking, and faster load times for ranked and casual matches, and new balance updates.

As for the new DLC character, it is unknown yet who the he/she is, but there have been several hints and rumors regarding the next fighter. Names like Goutetsu, Matthew McCoy, Luke and Satsuki are mentioned as the possible next DLC character in "Street Fighter 5."

Both the new DLC character and the balance changes were set to launch along with the new CFN "at the end of April." However, Capcom stated that since both of these were developed under the new CFN infrastructure, they have to release alongside the new CFN when it is ready. Meaning, there is no new release date yet, GameSpot reported.

In other news, Capcom will launch a new stage and character outfits in "Street Fighter 5" on April 25.

The new stage in the sequel happens to be the return of a classic "Street Fighter" arena, the Thailand stage. The Thailand stage was firts featured in "Street Fighter 2" as the final battlefield for the game's final boss, M.Bison, Gamerant reported.

Fghters like Ryu, Chun-Li, Juri, Alex and R. Mika will be wearing new costumes next week. Ryu will be wearing a Japanese Bancho, while Chun-Li will sport two outfits; an Honor Roll student and a business attire. Juri will have a punk rock look, R. Mika as a cheerleader and Alex as a Firefighter.
