With the latest leaked released online, it is believed that Nokia's forthcoming flagship will sport an edge to edge display, according to BGR.  Such display could also be accompanied by a new feature involving an iris scanner and a QHD OLED.

Going beyond the external, the possible chipset for Nokia 9 may include the latest Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 64GB or 128GB storage as an option. To favor selfies, it assumed that a 22-megapixel dual lens Carl-Zeiss camera on the back and a 12-megapixel front camera would be installed as well.

As for its price, the HMD's product is expected to be around €749 in Europe. Considering the market in the United States, it could be sold at around $699 as previous reports had pointed out.

Meanwhile, there have been reports that Samsung's Galaxy S8 entails some shortcomings, according to Independent UK. In terms of its fingerprint scanner, a test use revealed that it is quite difficult to find the scanner with a fingertip. There were some instances that it even failed to recognize the finger of the user for it didn't cover the entire sensor.

The latest iris scanner equipped with the device likewise had some issues. Based on the test, it had a difficulty recognizing irises in bright sunlight and when I'm moving.

Lastly, an improvement for their voice support system, Bixby, has been advised by critics. There were instances that searches using the AI assistant resulted in "No matching products found.

Having to consider the new offering of Nokia on the high-end division and the struggles being associated with the Galaxy S8, it would be likely possible the consumers will have to think twice about their purchase. If the issues were proven to be true, Samsung Galaxy S8 would be facing the enticement of Nokia 9 head on.
