Everyone knows that "Destiny 2" is coming but there is no certain info direct from Bungie about what players can exactly expect from the much awaited sequel. However, with the recent tweet from the developer, Bungie has officially revealed the logo for the game.

"Destiny 2's" logo was revealed in a post on the official "Destiny" Twitter account. Several posters for "Destiny 2" surfaced online last week, which highly resembles the same logo that Bungie has unveiled today. With this, IGN reports that today's news essentially verifies the September launch and upcoming beta, which is listed on the leaked posters.

Eric Hirshberg Activision Publishing CEO shared an update on the "Destiny 2's" progress earlier this 2017. He said that the "development is going great, and it is indeed on track for release this fall." The publisher also said that the highly anticipated sequel will be delivering a "great cinematic story."

Furthermore, Bungie just recently discussed what character progress will and will not be carried over to "Destiny 2." In an interview with IGN, the developer explained as well why the studio is focused on maintaining players' relationships with their character rather than their gear.

According to Forbes, "Destiny" had an odd start when it first launched, but was able to recover with the release of "The Taken King" the following fall. The game grew into an engaging and addictive online shooter. It may not be quite an MMO, but far from a traditional shooter game, but it was able to handle a number of lines while it kept its enjoyable shooting and rock-solid mechanics intact.

In other news, Bungie is kicking off an "Age of Triumph" campaign. It is said to be the final tour for the popular online shooter. The team has apparently revamped all of the raids, added some new missions, giving players a bunch of achievements, and a whole lot more.
