The Twitter user added that the pre-order receipt also indicates a release date of Sept. 17, although employees at the GameStop apparently stated that this is just a placeholder date.In a follow-up post from Snowy also showed the bottom of the receipt, which confirmed the pre-order availability of "Destiny 2" alongside other upcoming games such as "FIFA 18," "Tekken 7," and "Red Dead Redemption 2."

Although the information is still suspicious to some since there have been no comments from Bungie, Bungie or Activision for that matter.

However, the post code and telephone number on the receipt do match up to the Hannover branch of GameStop, and the branch information added on the receipt would make it legitimate, Gamerant reported.

In other news, it seems that Bungie might official announce "Destiny 2" after the Age if Triumph event as Bungie tweeted a teaser for gamers for things to come during the final live event.

Furthermore, community manager David “DeeJ” Dague closed the update by stating, “You were expecting something else? One milestone at a time, Guardians", GamingBolt reported. Bungie stated that Age of Triumph will feature the return of Vault of Glass and Crota’s End to "Destiny’s" end-game, new armor and Ornaments and classic raid weapons.

Previous reports revealed that "Destiny 2" will likely launch on Sept. 8 due to a leaked game poster. Kotaku writer Jason Schreiser was able to confirmed that the leaked "Destiny 2" poster is legitimate, he pointed out the the Sept. 8 launch is still unsure as he cited that it could be a European release due to the different dates from other regions like North America and Asia.

There is also a rumored beta test for "Destiny 2" in the PlayStation 4 on June, but there are no announcements for the Xbox One and PC versions.

"Destiny 2" will launch sometime in 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
