New details for "Resident Evil 7" will feature a Nintendo Switch version soon and a higher RAM capacity for the latest console.

It seems that the possibility for having "Resident Evil 7" in the Nintendo Switch version could happen soon as Nintendo reached out to various developers when it was creating the Switch in order to get feedback on the project.

It was during this process that Capcom and other developers pushed Nintendo to increase the Nintendo Switch’s RAM capacity to at least 4GB, which is what the console launched with earlier this month.

However, Capcom had an ulterior motive as to way they wanted Nintendo to increase Switch's RAM capacity is the developers were at the midst of developing the RE Engine for "Resident Evil 7" at the time and wanted Nintendo to create a console with the right amount memory to support the system.

Luckily, Nintendo took Capcom's advice and increased the Nintendo Switch's memory, which further increase the speculation that "Resident Evil 7" could be ported to the console soon, Ubergizmo reported.

Capcom and Nintendo have collaborated with each other before, after all it was "Sweet Home" from the NES that influenced the making of the first "Resident Evil" game in the first PlayStation console.

Several "Resident Evil" titles have already made into Nintendo consoles like "Resident Evil 3: Nemesis," "Resident Evil Code: Veronica,""Resident Evil" remake, "Resident Evil Zero" and "Resident Evil 4," Gamerant reported.

Game producer Masachika Kawata stated before in an interview that he took an interest in the Nintendo Switch. He said that the Nintendo Switch is an interesting piece of hardware and will likely be used for current and future video game titles.

When it comes to the subject of "Resident Evil 7" in the new console, Kawata sadly informed video game fans that Capcom will not have plans in developing the sequel in the Nintendo Switch, atleast at the moment.

Still, the possibilities for new Capcom titles going to the Nintendo Switch will be initiated in the future development as Capcom still maintains their working relationship with Nintendo.

"Resident Evil 7" is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
