'Street Fighter 5' Update: Sequel will Feature Big Changes for Capcom Fighters Network; Clarification of Taylor as the Leaked DLC Character Explained [VIDEO]

New updates for "Street Fighter 5" will feature big changes on the Capcom Fighter s Network and clarifications on the leaked DLC character Taylor.

It seems that there are some clarifications regarding the supposed leaked DLC character Taylor in "Street Fighter 5" as Urien's voice actor Bill Rogers stated that Taylor in the game was not a leaked and it only made a shout out to his fellow voice cast member Dave Fennoy, and the leak was meant as a response for gaming fans wanting him being in the game, EventHubs reported.

Capcom has already released Akuma and Kolin as the second batch of DLC characters in Street Fighter 5" as more fighters are coming to the roster this week. Four characters have hinted as the next DLC fighters such as Goutetsu, Matthew McCoy, Luke and Satsuki.

In other news, Capcom announced some changes in the Capcom Fighters Network in "Street Fighter 5" as they are scheduled for maintenance this week.

Capcom stated that been working hard to address connectivity issues players have been experiencing into the game since its launch, and has now completely rebuilt the CFN for a better online experience.

In order to test its improvements, Capcom announced "Street Fighter 5" will be free to play on Steam from March 28 to April 3. The beta client will be separate from the main game, and will only include access to its online modes.

Existing players’ CFN username and other stats will carry over to the beta, whereas new players will get to create their own CFN logins. All of the fighters in "Street Fighter 5" will be unlocked, including post-launch characters. Anything earned during the beta, as well as stats recorded, will be wiped after April 3.

This build will also come with the season 2 balance adjustments, which is good news for competitive players. Capcom detailed a list of improvements players should see with the new CFN. The beta will start at 1pm PT, 4pm ET, 8pm GMT on Tuesday, March 28 and will end at 12pm PT, 3pm ET, 7pm GMT on Monday, April 3, VG 24/7 reported.

"Street Fighter 5" is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
