LG Mobile has been busy leaking several of the important specifications of its upcoming flagship LG G6 smartphone ahead of its much-anticipated debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) later this week. Now, the South Korean giant has revealed that LG G6 will sport dual rear cameras, much like its predecessor, the LG G5.

The flagship phone will have two 13 megapixel rear cameras with 125-degree angle view, according to a statement on LG's official Korean blog spot. However, the blog post did not shed light on how much megapixels LG G6's front camera would have but confirmed that it would have a 100-degree field view.

The 125-degree angle view sported by LG G6's rear camera perfectly fits the human eye's field of view, according to LG. Interestingly, the South Korean company forgot to use the same logic on LG G5 and LG V6 as both phones boast of 135 degree angle view.

LG also said that its upcoming flagship phone would come preloaded with 'square camera feature' that will split its 18:9 display screen into two with one screen showing the latest clicked photo while the other screen will simultaneously help to line up the next photo. This is not a revolutionary feature as such, considering that Instagram already offers this feature.

Furthermore, LG G6's new interface UX 6.0 will offer new Food Mode and also allow users to create GIF images by combining two to 100 pictures in a loop.

The LG G6 phone is set to make its debut on Sunday at MWC in Barcelona, Spain.  The success of this flagship smartphone is crucial for LG's mobile business, which has tumbled over the years. The pressure on LG G6 would not have been so severe, had the LG G5 taken off last year. But the flagship phone failed to live up to expectations despite the hype created around it.
