The upcoming LG G6 smartphone with the brushed metal design on the back has been leaked online.

The LG G6 was recently leaked with a shiny rear panel and the smartphone's logo along with a LED flash. The rear side shows a fingerprint scanner and the dual camera setup with a LED flash placed between those cameras, similar to the LG V20 smartphone launched a few weeks back.

The LG G6 will have a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2880 x 14440 pixels, a pixel density of 827 pixels per inch, and 16M colors. It is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 821 chipset. It comes with the volume rockers and power button on the sides and the narrow bezels on all the four sides.

The LG G6 houses the speaker grills and the USB Type-C port at the bottom and the 3.5mm audio jack on the top. It features a 16-megapixel image sensor and a wide-angle 8-megapixel resolution on the rear side. It bears an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The LG G6 comes with a 2GB of RAM in three storage variants, namely, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. This storage can be further expanded up to a maximum of 128GB using a microSD card slot on board. It is also packed with a 4200 mAh Li-Ion battery that is enough for a whole day of usage.

The LG G6 will be the only other non-Pixel smartphone to sports Google Assistant out of the box. It might ditch the removable battery to give way to the waterproofing capability. The metal back design might be a hint from the company's letting go of a modular design like the LG G5.

The LG G6 also carries the smartphone's branding seen on the bottom in black and silver color options. It will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2017 on Feb. 26 in Barcelona.
