Hisense A2 Smartphone Released, Specs, Price: With 5.5-Inch AMOLED and 5.2-Inch E-Ink Displays

The Hisense A2 smartphone has been released in China.

The Hisense A2 with dual displays was listed a couple of months back on the Chinese equipment certification center (TENAA).

The Hisense A2 has a 5.5-inch full high-definition AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It also has a 5.2-inch quad high-definition E-ink display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels that is used for Kindle E-book readers.

The Hisense A2 also carries a 2.5D glass on top for both the front and rear displays. It bears a backlight for these E-ink displays with the reflectivity that is almost close to the normal paper. It features the built-in iReader app with a resource of 300,000 online eBooks and 5000 credits for free on every device and JD's online catalog integration from the company.

The Hisense A2 is equipped with dual-mode dual-touch technology to control the main screen by swiping or tapping on the E-ink screen at the back. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.4 GHz and coupled with Adreno 505 graphics processing unit.

The Hisense A2 comes with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be further extended up to a maximum of 128GB via a microSD card slot. It is packed with a 3090 mAh battery that supports fast charging and the 5V/2A adapter. It has dual SIM dual standby with the support of three carriers, namely, China Telecom, China Unicom, and China Mobile.

The Hisense A2 houses a 16-megapixel camera at the back with an aperture of f/2.0, phase detection autofocus, 5P lens, and a 75-degree wide angle view. It can record videos in full high-definition resolution at 30 frames per second. It also has a 5-megapixel front camera with an aperture of f/2.4 and 84-degree wide-angle view for capturing better selfies.

The Hisense A2 was officially launched as a crowdsourcing project with the market price of $435 (around Rs. 30,000 or 2999 yuan). It measures 157 x 76.8 x 8.45 mm in dimension and weighs 188 grams.
