After an arduous testing phase, Apple has finally rolled out the iOS 10.2.1 update. The update includes fixes for notable bugs, as well as security improvements. The latest update is considered as a minor one, and most of the fixes and improvements are unnoticeable.

Apple has also released the macOS Sierra version 10.12.3 update to address several security vulnerabilities and graphics hardware problems reported on the 15-inch MacBook Pro laptop.

According to Apple's update documentation, the latest macOS update "improves automatic graphics switching on MacBook Pro (15-in., October 2016)." Another patch fixes "graphics issues" on both the 15-inch and 13-inch MacBook Pro when encoding Adobe Premier Pro videos, according to Computer World.

The latest iOS 10.2.1 update provides security improvements against some of the most "devastating" hacking attacks that are targeted toward the platform. Apple cited more 18 security vulnerabilities that were patched with the latest update, 11 of those are found in the browser engine of Safari, a handful of iOS apps, and a couple from the App Store.

According to Ars Technica, the latest iOS 10.2.1 should be able to clear all betas of the iOS 10.3 update. This is most likely the final major update for iOS 10 before Apple starts working on iOS 11.

Safari for the macOS was also updated to fix a dozen of bugs. The latest Safari 10.0.3 update was packaged along with the Sierra 10.12.3 update. Apple did not provide a description for this update, but some speculate that it has something to do with Consumer Reports' unfavorable review about the new MacBook Pro's battery. Apple previously stated that the flaw was fixed in a beta update.

The new iOS, macOS, and Sierra updates will be automatically received by supported devices. On the other hand, users can manually trigger the update if the notification does not push through.
