Nintendo Director Shinya Takahashi was present to elaborate more on the Nintendo Switch. He described the new gaming system as a combination of innovations from the Japanese company. A slideshow detailing the Nintendo Switch system and its unique features were presented to the audience. It has two controllers, portability, motion controls, and family-friendly software, Time reported.

When the game hits retailers, it will reportedly arrive in a single bundle with two variants. The retail package will include the Switch console, its dock system, a pair of Joy-Con controllers together with a pair of wrist strap attachments, a Joy-Con grip, an HDMI cable, and an AC adapter. The two variants of the Nintendo Switch will sport different Joy-Con colors; one with an all-gray controller, while the other carries a neon blue and red combo controller.

The online presentation focused on the gaming system's new controller, known as the Joy-Con. According to Kotaku, it works as a standard single player controller when attached to the Joy-Con grip. It can also function as two separate controllers for multiplayer games. Each portion of the controller has built-in motion sensors like the Wii Remote, and holds an analog stick as well as four face buttons. The home button, an AR (Augmented Reality) camera and NFC sensor can be found on the right half, while a capture button is the only notable button on the left. Both sides also have left and right bumper buttons.

A previous report from Telegiz said that the Nintendo Switch would be going on a North American tour. Nintendo will visit six different cities during the weekends to demo its new console ahead of its official launch. Nintendo also announced that pre-orders for the gaming system would start this week.
