Japanese top newspaper Nikkei has revealed that the Nintendo Switch may sell for 25,000 JPY (about $215 USD). However, discrepancies in worldwide pricing would affect the price point of the console.

For example, the Wii U, which is Nintendo's home console, was priced at $299 USD at its launch in the US, while it sold for only 26,250 JPY ($226) in Japan. Because of this, the Nintendo Switch is rumored to retail for $250 USD.

There are also speculations that the Nintendo Switch would come with Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities and a non-removable battery. A former Ubisoft employee said that the upcoming Nintendo Switch might not come with enough processing power to support current-generation game ports and it could pose a problem for third-party developers.

According to Sebastian Aaltonen, "Straightforward code port is not possible" on the Switch. "

Around 50 percent of modern game engine frame time goes to running compute shaders: lighting, post processing, AA, AO, reflections, etc. Maxwell's tiled rasterizer has zero impact on compute shaders. 25.6 [GBps] is pretty low as everybody knows that 68 [Gbps] of Xbox One isn't that great either," he added.

The games the players can try on the Nintendo Switch include Dragon Quest X, Dragon Quest XI, NBA 2K17, Project Sonic 2017, Just Dance 2017, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Splatoon Switch, Lego City Undercover, Constructor, Cube Life: Island Survival, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Mario Kart and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The new Mario game which appeared in the Nintendo Switch trailer in October could also be announced and included.
