Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo Switch will be released in March 2017. The Japanese gaming giant has, however, decided not to announce further details about the device until January. There have been a lot of rumors about the Nintendo Switch's price.

Toys 'R' Us in Canada posted the Nintendo Switch on its website with a price tag of 329.99 CAD ($249). While the post has since been deleted, the cached version was saved.

Meanwhile, Let's Play Video Games reported that the basic version of the Nintendo Switch will cost 200 GBP ($255) when it is launched. The basic version only includes the console and controllers but the higher model with a built-in game, and larger internal storage will cost 250 GBP ($318).

According to reports, the Nintendo Switch will cost $332 in the U.S. The Nintendo 3DS had the same price when it was launched five years ago.

Gameseek, on the other hand, lists the Nintendo Switch for pre-order with a price of 198.50 GBP ($253) while Australian EB Games sells it for 999 AUD ($745). The gaming console will be available on Mar. 17.
