Pokemon Sun and Moon has a lot of new Pokemon for trainers to battle with in Alola but the original 150 from the first generation remains exciting. Find out where to catch Eevee, Pikachu and Growlithe below.

Eevee is one of the most popular Pokemon in the series because of its plenty evolutions from Leafeon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Sylveon, Glaceon, and Flareon. To catch Eevee, players have to reach Akala Island first and from Heahea City proceed to Route 4 where an Eevee is on the first patch of grass the player will see.

Meanwhile, players can catch a Pikachu and Pichu as soon as they begin the adventure in the first island Melemele which is rife with Pikachu and Pichu. Between the player's house and the place where he/she will meet Kahuna Hala for the festival, the player can find Pikachu in two patches of grass before the stairs. There is also the spawning area inside Hau'oli City where Pikachu turns up on all patches of grass. There are Pokemon Centers nearby as well. The player can encounter Pichu in those areas and evolve it instead of catching Pikachu. Note that Pikachu can not be seen on any other island.

Similar to Pikachu, players can also Growlithe on Melemele Island only. Players can encounter Growlithe on Route 2 before Route 3 only. It evolves into Arcanine when the player uses a Fire Stone on it.

These Pokemon can be found early in the game. The player can also evolve Eevee into different elements as mentioned above. To evolve Eevee into Jolteon, you should give it a special stone called Thunder Stone, which you can get by going to the back of the caravan at the Fossil Restoration Center in Route 8. You can also get it through minigames at Poke Pelago or purchase it in Konikoni City for 3,000 credits.

To evolve it into Vaporeon, you need to expose Eevee to a Water Stone which you can find in Route 8 in the water south of the small island. You can also buy it in Konikoni City for 3,000 credits or win it at Poke Pelago.

Just the same, you can also evolve Eevee into Flareon with a Fire Stone which you can win at Poke Pelago or buy for 3,000 credits. You can receive a freebie at Diglett's Tunnel in the northwest corner with a Tauros as well.
