The latest budget TCL 550 smartphone has been introduced in China.

The TCL 550 comes with a textured finish on the back with curved edges on the rear, Phone Radar reported. It also has a physical home button on the front that is equipped with the fingerprint scanner to unlock in just half a second and authorize WeChat and AliPay payments. Each fingerprint can be customized to open the selected app.

The TCL 550 has a 5.5-inch full high-definition IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by an octacore MediaTek Helio P10 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.8 GHz and coupled with the Mali-T860 GPU.

According to The Mobile Indian, the TCL 550 comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage that can be extended additionally up to 128 GB via a microSD card. It is packed with a 2960 mAh battery that can give at least a day of usage.

The TCL 550 features a 13-megapixel camera at the back with a f/2.0 aperture and phase detection autofocus that can focus in just 0.2 seconds. It carries a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture for capturing selfies.

The TCL 550 measures 152.6 x 76.8 x 7.99 mm in dimensions with a weight of 150 grams. It is also equipped with an AKM audio chip to offer Hi-Fi at a 3.6W output. It supports gestures such as capturing a screenshot with a three finger swipe.

The TCL 550 supports dual SIM dual standby. It offers 4G VoLTE for making high-definition voice calls. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G, and micro USB 2.0 port.

The TCL 550 comes in gray and gold color with polycarbonate shell. It is priced at $132.66 (899 yuan).
