The Huawei Honor 8 smartphone has been launched in India.

According to Mashable, the Honor 8 is not only one of the cheapest smartphones with a dual-camera feature in India but it is also a dual-SIM capable smartphone. It uses two 12-megapixel sensors, one RGB for color photos and another monochrome for black and white images. It captures more light and offers vivid color combination.

The camera of the Honor 8 handles dynamic light with ease and expertly, India Today reported. Even photos taken directly facing the sun are still good. There are also tons of filters that can be accessed easily.

The Honor 8 has a 5.2-inch full high-definition LCD with a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection, a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, and a pixel density of 423 ppi. It is powered by its homegrown octa-core Kirin 950 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.8 GHz.

The Honor 8 comes with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which can be further extended up to 128 GB via a microSD card. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Huawei's EMUI 4.1 skin. It is packed with a 3000 mAh non-removable battery.

The Honor 8 features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for more selfies. It also carries a USB Type-C 1.0 reversible charging connector. It measures 145.50 x 71.00 x 7.45 mm with a weight of 153.00 grams.

The Honor 8 also comes with sensors such as proximity, ambient light, accelerometer, and gyroscope with a price tag of $450 (around Rs 29,999) in India. Other connectivity options include NFC, FM, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India).
