The ZTE Blade A2 Plus smartphone has been unveiled in China with its full specifications and prices.

According to New Mobile Specs, the Blade A2 Plus has a 5.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a pixel density of 404ppi. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T chipset clocked at a speed of 1.5 GHz coupled with the Mali T860 GPU.

The Blade A2 Plus features a 13-megapixel camera at the back and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. It is packed with a huge 4900 mAh battery on the back.

The Blade A2 Plus is a hybrid dual SIM and 4G mobile which supports networks like GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz used for 2G functionality and HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz used for 3G. It also supports LTE 900 / 1200 MHz bands for 4G connectivity.

The connectivity options of the Blade A2 Plus are GPS, micro USB 2.0, A-GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The available sensors include a compass, accelerometer, and proximity.

The Blade A2 Plus comes in two RAM variants; one version with 3 GB of RAM at the price tag of $225 (RMB 1499 or around Rs. 15,000) and another with 4 GB of RAM at $255 (RMB 1699 or approximately Rs. 17,000), Phone Radar reported. The onboard internal storage is 32 GB which can be further expandable via microSD card slot.

It is unclear when the ZTE Blade A2 Plus would be rolled out globally. The device is expected to compete against Samsung Galaxy J7, Xiaomi Mi Max, Oppo F1, Lenovo Zuk Z1, and Huawei Honor 5X which are in the similar price range.
