A leak has surfaced online showing HTC's alleged smartwatch as well as possible specifications of the wearable device.

Dubbed the "Halfbeak," HTC's Android wearable was produced in collaboration with shoes and sportswear maker Under Armour, according to the leak on Weibo, Engadget reported.

Although HTC was listed as an Android Wear partner during the Android Wear launch more than a year ago, the Taiwan-based company has not released a wearable device.

The watch, which is named after a fish, will have a round display, with 360 x 360 resolution. Android Headlines notes that the body of the device is made of metal, and has the Under Armour logo is on its back.

HTC and Under Armour have partnered in the past to produce a connected fitness system called Healthbox, and this new smartwatch might act as the system's fitness tracker.

Based on the leaked photos, the Halfbeak features two physical buttons on the right side of the watch, one of which is assumed to be a power button, lighting up the screen when needed. The other button is still for an undefined purpose. It also sports a rubber/silicone watch strap, which makes it both sturdy and looking quite sporty.

Located at the back side of the watch are some pogo pins, indicating a possibility that the watch will be charged using a "charging cradle."
