Oppo has announced a special Diwali edition of its newest flagship F1s smartphone in India.

Priced at Rs 17990 ( approx. $270), the special Diwali edition Oppo F1s smartphone is now available for pre-order via the company's concept stores. The device will be made available later on Indian e-commerce platform Snapdeal from October 14 along with its stores.

The Chinese smartphone marker said in a statement that the special Diwali edition Oppo F1s comes with a stylish creative packing studded with the glow of Diwali celebrations and gilded glare of Diwali pattern and logo on the back panel. The back panel also has autographs of Bollywood stars and company's brand ambassadors Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor.

"Diwali is one of the most important festivals in the country," Oppo Mobile India's brand director Will Wang said at the launch event. "At this time, we not only want to thank young users with this customized phone but also threat this as step forward of localization in India."

Special Diwali Edition Oppo F1s Specifications

The special edition F1s smartphone is similar to its original model. The F1s runs on the Oppo's ColorOS 3.0 based on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box operating system and is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor.

The device comes with a 5.5-inch high definition display and packs a 16-megapixel rear camera along with a 13-megapixel front camera. It has 3GB RAM coupled with 32GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. It also packs powerful 3,075 mAh battery.
