The Kyoto-based video game company has recently confirmed that Nintendo NX console will be released in 2017. Currently, the project is codenamed as NX console, and it would be the latest innovation from Nintendo that is said to come out in an all new design.

As announced by Nintendo, NX console will be available across the globe upon its launch on March 2017. Nintendo did not disclose additional information about the NX console aside from the targeted launch of March 2017.

Given that there has not been any additional information which was provided about NX console, gamers would absolutely look forward to seeing this console in the near future. With Nintendo being in the industry for quite a long time already, they would definitely know how to handle excited gamers and fans and how to thrill its average clients.

There are speculations saying that the NX console will join the battle to be the best gaming console in the world. It may lead to a brainy debate if this Nintendo NX console would be able to challenge existing competition between Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One, according to Gear Nuke.

On the other hand, Game Spot reported that Nintendo initially made an announcement in March 2015 about releasing a new console. But during Nintendo's earnings call report for 2016, the Kyoto-based game developer confirmed the date of launch of NX console and it was also revealed in their official Twitter account of Nintendo America. Following the March 2015 announcement, Nintendo also mentioned that their company has already sent the software dev kits to their third party partners for further testing and final touches.

More news about Nintendo, the Japanese game developer also stated that they are bound to release Legend of Zelda simultaneously with the NX console and Wii U in March 2017. In addition, Nintendo recently released a social networking mobile device app called Miitomo which can be used for chatting and other functions which can also be found in Twitter and Facebook. Miitomo was first launched in Japan in March 17, 2016 and by March 31, 2016 it was introduced to the global market. Now, Nintendo also mentioned that their company will be launching more mobile device apps for Miitomo such as Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem games.
