AMD Radeon Pro Duo: hits the market this year to take Virtual Reality with a breeze

In the era of computing, virtual reality is the popular name and is bleeding into mobile as well. It is however not easily assessable to everyone. Apart from heavy prices of VR 'real' headsets, VR also needs some hefty PC specs as more power is needed to create VR content. The worries of the VR content creators have come to an end with this new AMD Radeon Pro Duo graphics card - the fastest and most powerful one for both creating and consuming VR content.

The AMD Radeon Pro Duo graphic card has the potential of 16 TFLOPS or teraflops. TFLOPS or teraflops is a unit of measure which is equivalent to a trillion floating point operations (FLOPS) per second. Thus, making the AMD Radeon Pro Duo definitely the fastest in the world of gaming according to its tests. NVIDIA will prove its efficiency undoubtedly later on. The graphic card handles 4K resolution easily. However, its real use is to suit a platform for virtual reality.

It is world's key platform for VR content creation, AMD claimed. Rather, it is the first asset under 'AMD VR Creator' line. AMD's graphic card LiquidVR; the technology announced in 2015 is exact. For developers; AMD immediately made available, the Liquid VR SDK. Of these, one is Crytek of CRYSIS fame. The duo has further announced a partnership that under Crytek's VR first Initiative, they will help bring VR both hardware and software to academics this year.

The Radeon Pro Duo graphic card supports DirectX 12 and Vulkan; the newly launched. Also, it boasts several other things along the grounds of its efficacy in just not consuming but also creating VR content. Additionally, it poises the graphic card as a tool to shape VR content both at work and with off-work.

The AMD Radeon Pro Duo will be launched early Q2 this year in the market.
