Listening to music over WiFi gets even better, as Samsung is out with a compact speaker designed upright that can be connected to a smartphone app. The app Multiroom 2.0, is available for the Apple Watch and Samsung Gear S, and you can access and control music from your watch as well. The App has most of the music services, and the sound is powerful enough and spreads uniformly across all the directions.

According to Trusted Reviews, R1 is the most affordable and smallest speaker in Samsung's R range. R1 is packed with features present in expensive speakers with compact design. Apart from multiroom function, omnidirectional speaker technology is also incorporated to Samsung's R1.

The cloth wrapped around this cylindrical device gives it a classical look. It looks good and materials used to make it have good quality. The surface is touch sensitive control panel and UV coated as well. A single tap to pause and play, swipe left for backward play and right for forward play. However, at high volume it loses composure. Also Samsung Radiant360 R1 WAM1500 lacks in OLED display and does not have SoundCloud and TIDAL. But, as a whole, the device is a must buy with great style and features at this price point. The Ring Radiator technology produces detailed, powerful and omnidirectional sound.
