According to Geek, the Skull Canyon NUC will have 2 USB 3.0 ports, mini display port and HDMI outputs, single Thunderbolt 3 port to support USB 3.1 and display port 1.2 via type-C connector. Also, the unit will contain two additional USB 3.0 ports at front, a headphone jack and an SD card reader. If consumers plan to use it as an HTPC device, it also contains an IR sensor. The device uses 45-watt thermal power solution than the usual 28.

Intel Skull Canyon NUC will be available for sale from May 2016. Five hundred dollars is all you need for Razer core unit without a graphic card, a bare bone model will cost around $650, whereas a pre-configured Intel Skull Canyon NUC having 16GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, and Windows 10 will cost gamer's pockets close to $1,000. If consumers do not like a skull model, a plain black model is also available. Skull Canyon is set to give a speed of 60 frames per second at highest settings when connected with a Razer's GPU housing, and 30-40 FPS without the core and with low graphics settings.

Pre-orders will begin on Newegg from April 2016 and shipping will start from May 2016. Intel Skull Canyon NUC comes out as a competent card and a powerful pack on the go if the peripherals are available at the arrival site of user.
