CD Projekt co-founder Marcin Iwinski stated recently that their company will "wait and see" what Virtual Reality can do to enhance gameplay experience on titles that they have developed. The company's stand on the Virtual Reality technology was announced in the recently concluded financial results conference hosted by CD Projekt in 2015.

The upcoming Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2016 will be held in San Francisco, and Iwinski thinks that Virtual Reality and its technology would definitely be tackled, or possibly one of the focal points, in the conference. However, Iwinski stated, "Maybe it's not alpha, it's an early beta" about the early stage of Virtual Reality's technology. As his personal thought on Virtual Reality technology, Iwinski doesn't want to limit his options, and they hope that the upcoming Virtual Reality will not be like how 3D technology said hello and goodbye to the limelight.

Although Virtual Reality is about to be unleashed and discovered, Iwinski is also waiting for Microsoft's HoloLens to be introduced in the gaming world. He said that he will personally wait for other options as he doesn't want to limit himself into little options, but not necessarily encouraging others to follow his personal stand on this technology. Possibly, gaming enthusiasts will have their own taste and standard in choosing which will suit their needs and wants.

CD Projekt as a whole will wait and see how Virtual Reality is going to work with their games, and see what kind of experience this innovation would add to their existing and upcoming games. Virtual Reality could perhaps catch the attention of game developers if they are able to present themselves properly and with all transparency, according to Dual Shockers.

Virtual Reality is said to set significant benchmark in the gaming world but it still need to prove its worth for other game developers and enthusiasts. Before CD Projekt's "wait and see" stand on the Virtual Reality technology, Nintendo already showed cold shoulder on this technology.

Although Nintendo has already shown their low interest on the Virtual Reality technology, CD Projekt on the other hand may still give VR a chance to earn their stars and show game developers what it has. There may be companies that are not interested in getting or tying up their games with VR, but there are also convinced enthusiasts who will give VR the right to prove its worth, Gaming Bolt reported.
