Android N is Google's next mobile operating system that is yet to be officially released, but is now already challenging stubborn applications with how they deal with these apps every time it crashes or acts up.

For normal Android software like Android Lollipop, or the latest, Android Marshmallow, force close pop-up will automatically appear with "Restart App" option. Hence, devices that are now using Android N (Developer preview version), force close pop up will give options like "Reset and Restart App" as well as "Mute until Device restarts."

If software like Marshmallow is experiencing apps that are at times being unresponsive, suddenly freezes and stops loading, Force Close Pop up appears on the screen, what more should Android N users expect. Usually, the options seen in these technical issues are restarting the app, sending feedback to the developer or simply closing the app or depending on the force close options that the app developer has encrypted. Now, with the added feature in the Android N software, users will now see options such as Reset and Restart the app and Mute until Device restarts.

The option Reset and Restart the app does not literally mean that all the saved data and progress on the app will be deleted, like the name suggests. This option will only stop all processes and then it will cold launch the app again faster than the typical restart option to close and relaunch the app. Then the Mute until Device restarts option will probably stop the app that crashes from constantly appearing until the device completely restarts, according to Android Police.

More about the added features of the Developer Preview version of Android N, another addition to its package is the split-screen feature that perfectly matches Google's recent innovation, Pixel C convertible tablet. The split-screen feature will surely be available across Android devices but it works amazingly in tablets like Pixel C and Nexus 9. This latest and exciting feature may be attuned with all of Android operated devices but not all apps are compatible with the split screen feature in Android N. Apps such as Snapchat, Minecraft: Pocket Edition, Instagram and Uber are not working or allowing the split screen feature, only a full screen view of the app is working.

This added feature is said to be still in the works for perfection as there are bugs that needs to be fixed and the process still needs to be smoothened. Possibly in the next few weeks or months, this feature will have noticeable changes that may better the experience in using the Android N software, added by Venture Beat.
