Tech giant Apple has updated its official Apple Events page in preparation for its upcoming media event scheduled on March 21. Additionally, the Cupertino-based tech company has started sending out invitations to some members of the press to join the event with a tag line "Let us loop you in."

The scheduled event uses Apple's HTTP Live Streaming technology which users at home can watch through their iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, provided that they run on iOS 7.0 or newer versions. Moreover, the highly anticipated event can also be streamed using all Apple TV set-top boxes except for the first-generation models.

For Mac users, they must be running on OS X 10.8.5 or newer versions and their Safari browser must be at least version 6.0.5. For PC users who want to witness the event, they are required to use the Microsoft Edge browser integrated in Windows 10.

According to Apple Insider, the event will kick off on March 21 at 10 A.M Pacific Time. The event will be held at Apple's corporate headquarters located at 1 Infinite Loop in Cupertino, California.

Tech analysts speculate that the upcoming event might be the last event to be hosted at Apple's current headquarters. Apple chief executive officer said in February that the 1,000-seat theater located at the soon to be opened Apple Campus 2 may open its doors in time for next year's shareholder meeting.

The upcoming Apple event is expected to be headlined by the highly-rumored iPhone SE. The device is rumored to have a 4-inch display, an A9 processor and support for Apple Pay. Analysts believe that the iPhone SE will replace the iPhone 5S as the most affordable iPhone model.

On the event, Apple is also expected to unveil the iPad Pro. According to CNet, the flagship tablet device from Apple is rumored to have a 9.7-inch display with Smart Connector, an A9X processor and a quad-speaker array.

For fans of the Apple Watch, rumors claim that the second-generation smart wearable device will not see the light of day until later this year. However, Apple is expected to release some minor updates for the device like new bands, watch faces and a possible software upgrade.
