'The Witcher 3' DLC update: Launch date for 'Blood and Wine' set on June; CD Projekt RED to feature a new soundtrack for the expansion!

New details for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will feature a possible launch date for the "Blood and Wine" DLC, as well as new soundtrack for the expansion being teased.

CD Projekt RED teased a new soundtrack for "Blood and Wine" DLC expansion for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" as game composer Marcin Przybylowicz stated in an interview that they will be making new music for the game from the ground up.

Przybylowicz added that he will be working with other composers Mikolai Stroinski and Piotrek Musial as they will try their best to make new music for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt". The three of them will not be using any pieces that were written before in the game due to the fact that "Blood and Wine" DLC will feature a new setting, new characters and plot, Gamingbolt reported.

In other news, it seems that a rumored release date for "The Blood and Wine" DLC has been revealed as several new game details for the expansion have been leaked.

Scan images from username DartahsBinars contained several potential gameplay details for "The Witcher 3" expansion which include new weapons, armor, animation and signs for Geralt.

"Blood and Wine" DLC will feature a minimum level requirement at level 40, two standard game endings and one secret ending, a "Bone sword" for Geralt related to the Brotherhood of Wolf, different armor color changes offered by NPCs for each areas such as Novigrad, Skellige and Touissant, four new skills in Combat, Alchemy and Sign, 12 New General Skills, three Skill slots and one Mutagen slot.

A new armor set for Geralt will be included in the expansion, as well as a new combat animation and a huge boss fight which is said to be equivalent of the Kraken in "The Witcher 2". New in-game fixes for balancing Difficulty settings and Camera Settings are added and "Blood and Wine" is said to to launch on June, WCCFTech reported.

"Blood and Wine" expansion will feature Geralt's latest journe to the region of Touissant, were in its peaceful atmosphere contains a dark and terrible secret. New characters are being introduced in the DLC such as the Dutchess of Touissant Anna Henriatta and the evil sorcerer Vilgefortz. Frigello Vigo will also make her return to the game as one of the possible romantic interest of Geralt.

New monsters like Manticore, Stringas and Bruxas are included and new ModKits that gamers and PC modders can use to create new mods

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
