'Watch Dogs 2' PS4 release date set before April 2017; E3 2016 appearance teased soon?

New " Watch Dogs 2" details will feature a released date set next year for the PlayStation 4 console and a rumored E3 2016 appearance.

Rumored reports and speculations are making rounds that Ubisoft will be debuting " Wathc Dogs 2" in this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, along with a possible demo gameplay. The video game company added that the sequel will be exclusive to the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, unlike the previous game which first came out in for the PS3 and Xbox 360, The Rebel reported.

Ubisoft's decision to have "Watch Dogs 2" in the works due to it being part of their third quarter financial report as it detailed the current outlook of the company for the fiscal year and beyond. Ubisoft added that their line-up of upcoming video game titles besides "Watch Dogs 2" such as "For Honor", "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" and "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

"Watch Dogs 2" will likely set in a new and different city in San Francisco as previous rumors speculated that the sequel will have multiple cities such as Silicon Valley, New York, Beijing, Dubai, Tokyo and many more.

The sequel is also rumored to have a new protagonist replacing the first game's hero Aiden Pierce as Gamerant writer Cory Gravelle stated that Aiden, despite his impressive hacking and combat skills has not personality, calling him a "dull" character and Ubisoft should be start making a new hero with a unique personality with morals and principles.

On the other hand, Aiden Pierce can still make it into "Watch Dogs 2", but with a more supportive role such as being mentor to the new hero or possibly the new antagonist in the sequel. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot stated that he does not know if Aiden Pierce will be back in the sequel and that three playable characters will be featured in the game.

"Watch Dogs 2" should also feature a more improved graphics than the first game as the first demo for "Watch Dogs" showcased a more impressive display than the final product. A "Morality" system is alos teased in the sequel as gamers will be given a choice to execute what kind of decision they can make either good or bad, and that decision will have an effect in the game's storyline.

Ubisoft stated that "Watch Dogs 2" could be launch before April 2017 for the PS4 and Xbox One, PlayStation Universe reported. Ubisoft will likely be making the game this year as they are not currently developing a new "Assassin's Creed" sequel until next year.

Gaming fans will be expecting new details for "Watch Dogs 2" from Ubisoft very soon.
