'Metal Gear Solid 5' DLC news: Konami announce changes in 'Metal Gear Online's' health, damage features; Release date for 'Cloaked in Silence' expansion set on March!

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" will feature new changes in the damage and health features in "Metal Gear Online" and the launch date for "Cloaked in Silence" expansion set on March.

Konami announced that the next patch update for "Metal Gear Online" will deal with the changes regarding the health and damage features. The Japanese video game developer explained in their official bog website that players will not just rely on on fast reflexes, but also triump over opposing enemy units by improving the damages on "well-placed shots"

Camera sways will be reduced in the latest update to allow players to aim more accurately, not to mention perform headshots easily when their opponents are near them. Certain weapons in "MGO" will have several damage changes for example all machine guns, submachin guns, assault rifles and lethal launchers will have reduced damages, while the S1000, Kabarga-83, AM D114, Geist P3, and Uragan-G will have a sudden increase in damages.

Players that have lethal launchers as as the Serval AMR-7 will notice that that it will not kill enemies with a single shot if they are too far in their firing range, Gamespot reported.

In other news, the official launch date for the new "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain expansion,"Cloaked in Silence" has been announced.

Konami stated that the expansion will launch next month and it will feature three new game maps; The Coral Complex, Rust Palace and Azure Mountains.

The Coral Complex is a map within the Mother Base as players can use the tall towers and storage containers as cover from enemy attacks and a tactical advantage against them.

Rust Palace is a large multi-level building located around Afghanistan as the internal area will more dusty rooms that they can use for cover and sniping positions, while the the outside area will be difficult for players to find cover.

Azure Mountain is an outdoor plain in Africa which offers small cluster of buildings for scant cover with only derelict walls and occasional scrubland surrounding the massive rock called "CradLe of Spirits".

Konami added that Quiet will be included in the "Cloaked in Silence" expansion as a unique character joining Snake and Liquid Ocelot.

A new content called "Appeal Action" will allow gamers to strike unique poses for their character and a new free mission in "MGO" called "Sabotage" which allow gamers to destroy or fulton an enemy missile before the round expires.

To access the missile players must hack into the terminals in order to deactivate the Electromagnetic barrier. Once the hack is done, gamers can choose either to reactivate te barrier or protect the missile.

"Cloaked in Silence" will cost around $4 and the Appeal packs will cost around $2 each, VG 24/7 reported.

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One,PS3, Xbox 360 and for the PC platform.
