"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" will feature three new maps, "Action Appeals", and a new character in its latest DLC update and will the rumored Episode 51 still be in the works.

Konami announced new DLC updates for Metal Gear Solid 5's" online multiplayer game mode, "Metal Gear Online" during the Tokaigi 2016 event. The new DLC update will feature three new game maps for "Metal Gear Online" such as the Azure Mountain in Africa, Coral Complex in the Mother Base and the Rust Palace in Afghanistan.

Fan-favorite sniper Quiet will be added in "Metal Gear Online" as a new playable "unique" character.The unique characters will appear as a mission setting prior to the beginning a game, as players are randomly selected to as one of them. Two unique character are already featured in "Metal Gear Online"; Naked Snake/Big Boss and Revolver Ocelot.

The latest content will include the "Appeal Actions" were in new animations for the player's avatar are being implemented such as dance moves, heroic poses, battle stances and many more. Konami stated that the new DLC will launch sometime on March and added that more information be revealed this week, Gamespot reported.

Voice actress Stefani Joosten stated in an interview that Quiet will not likely appear in the rumored Episode 51 of "Metal Gear Solid 5's" main storyline as she was notified about it.

Episode 51 will focus on the relationship between Eli/Liquid Snake and Tretij Rebenok/Psycho after they escaped Mother Base during the main storyline. It is said that the episode will bring closure to their bond and gaming fans expressed their disappointment on "The Phantom Pain" had many loose ends and no proper boss battle.

Konami has shipped over six million copies of "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain". Its Digital Entertainment division has earned a revenue of 83.4 billion yet and a profit of 25.5 billion yen this year, an impressive increase of what thet made last year, PlayStation Universe reported.

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One,PS3, Xbox 360 and for the PC platform.
