New details for the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will feature fully voiced characters, an open-world map and a rumored Nintendo NX version of the game.

Several rumors are making rounds that "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be ported for Nintendo's new game console, The Nintendo NX as YouTube username SuperMetaldave64 explained that the game could be available in the console along witrh "Final Fantasy XV". Previous reports indicated that Square Enix might be considering to put "Final Fantasy 7" remake in the Nintendo NX due to the fact that they allowed "FFXVII" hero Cloud Strife in the "Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS", IDigital Times reported.

SuperMetaldave 64 added that the both "Final Fantasy 7" remake and "Final Fantasy XV" could be a definitive editions for the Nintendo NX as the new console will have more impressive hardware than that of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. Several reports claim that the Nintendo NX was intended to be showcased in this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo and have a full launch on October. However, the release date of the console could be pushed pushed back to 2017 as to avoid being drowned in the spotlight when a number of VR headsets launching this year.

In other news, Game Director Tetsuya Nomura teased that the characters in the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be fully voiced compared to the text dialogues featured in the original "FF7" video game. Although Square Enix will go through with the plan, Nomura added that they still need to find other people to lend their voices on other NPCs in the game that were not present during the animated movie, "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children".

"Final Fantasy 7" remake will likely feature more open-world maps as Nomura and Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase explained they still do not know if they plan on making it an open-world style setting as they are still working on the game's many mini-games, Gematsu reported.

Square Enix is planning on releasing "Final Fantasy 7" remake in an episodic fashion and they are divided into four parts that features some of the original game's memorable moments. The game will also feature a more "hack'n slash" style compared to the traditional turned based gameplay of the original "FFVII" and gamers can control returning characters such as Cloud and Barret Wallace.

It is unknown yet as to when "Final Fantasy 7" remake will launch for the PS4 console, but several rumored reports speculated that the game could launch sometime in 2017 as it marks the 20th Anniversary of the beloved sequel.
