The latest updates for "Red Dead Redemption 2" will feature a new weapons storage and first-person mode, as well as Take-Two Interactive's take on the sequel's delay.

New rumors are making rounds regarding two possible game features added into "Red Dead Redemption 2." The first of these features came from well-known GTA watcher Tezfunz2 as he tweeted that the sequel may have a first-person mode similar to "Grand Theft Auto 5."

Gamers believe that with the first-person mode such a massive hit in "Grand Theft Auto 5," it would be a much bigger surprise if "Red Dead Redemption 2" did not come with the popular feature.

The second possible feature in "Red Dead Redemption 2" is teased by Reddit user MontanaCowboy as he stated that several characters held the rifles with their arms or hands, unlike in the original, in which the rifle was slung on the back when not in use.

This had the Reddit user thinking that if the sequel will have a "more intricate" storing mechanic when it comes to weapons. Others hoped that characters could carry more weapons in the game, such as a couple of handguns, a long gun and others on the horse's saddle.

Previous reports teased that "Red Dead Redemption 2" could have one playable protagonist instead of multiple characters.

All of the trailers and artwork in "Red Dead Redemption 2" hinted at one character that keeps appearing in the promotion. Dressed in a long duster coat, with a pointed hat that is bound with a rope, the mysterious figure could well be the protagonist. In addition, he tends to be the focus of each shot which many believe implies a lead role.

Meanwhile, Take-Two Interactive made some comments regarding "Red Desd Redemption 2's" delayed release date.

Rockstar Games announced before that the sequel will be delayed in its development and they will launch it until the Spring 2018. Gamers are worried that the delay will affect its development, but Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick stated in an interview that the delay is not important, going so far as to telling his audience that it will give consumers an "extraordinary experience," GamingBolt reported.

Zelnick added that the purpose of "Red Dead Redemption 2's" delay is to make sure Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive deliver the most extraordinary experience ever. The developers have not run into particular technical issues with development, and they are building the sequel, as a new game from the ground up for the first time for the new generation of consoles.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" will launch sometime in 2018 for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
