Nokia 3310 News: Revamped 3310 Practically Unusable In Some Countries: Here’s Why

Nokia 3310 (2017) with model number TA-1030 has received TENAA certification in China. The news of the certification has surfaced after its official launch in the Indian markets.

During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 that was held earlier this year, the Finnish company had mentioned the Nokia 3310 will be priced for 49 euros. However, it has now raised the cost of the phone to be 59 euros. It is currently available in markets like Spain, Germany and the U.K.

The Nokia 3310 (2017) has been launched in INdia with a pricing of Rs.3,310 ($46). The reason why it has arrived with a lower pricing is that the device has been made in India. The phone will be available in all the four color options such as Red, Yellow, Dark Blue and Grey in the Indian markets. In India, it will not be available in online stores, but it will be solely made available offline, GSM Arena reported.

The Nokia 3310 is currently using a 2G network. The phone with 3G network will be costing 93 euros and is said to arrive in May. Currently there is no word from the Finnish company about the upgrade to 3G network. However, the company claims that 3G listing is an error. Hence, the phone remains as 2G. It is expected to arrive in various EU markets by the coming month.

The Nokia 3310 sports a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It appears to be colorful, glossy and lightweight. The phone is packed with 16 MB of internal storage and includes expandable storage of up to 32 GB. It features a 2-megapixel rear camera. The handset is equipped with a 1,200 mAh capacity battery. It can give upto 31 days standby and 22 hours talktime. The phone includes connectivity options such as Micro-USB, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack, and FM radio, Gizbot reported.
