Recently, Moto Z2 Play received approval from TENAA, the certification body from China The smartphone is carrying model number of XT1710 and has a 3,000 mAh battery.

Lenovo has not yet officially announced the handset, but on its official Twitter handle, a Lenovo representative has confirmed the existence of Moto Z2 Play. He also confirmed one more thing that the Moto Z2 Play will be arriving with a 3,000 mAh capacity battery. The original Moto Z Play is packed with a 3,5310 mAh battery. Fans who are waiting for Moto Z2 Play may be disappointed with a fact that it features a smaller battery.

The Moto Z2 Play is rumored to come with improved specifications over the Moto Z Play. Given below are the specifications and features for the Moto Z2 Play that have appeared through its listing on TENAA.

The Moto Z2 Play is expected to sport a 5.5-inch OLED display with a full HD resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels. It is speculated to come equipped with Snapdragon 626 chipset that will include a 2.2GHz octa-core processor. The TENAA listing reveals the smartphone has a 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB internal storage. The phone is likely to come with a 12-megapixel rear camera. The smartphone is pegged to come loaded with Android 7.1 Nougat and support Moto Mods.

The smartphone is expected to get officially launched in early June. Lenovo is rumored to unveil Moto Z and Moto Z2 Force smartphones alongside the Moto Z2 Play, PhoneArena reported.

The Moto Z2 Force will be replacing the last year's Moto Z Force. It is rumored to sport a 5.5-inch display. The phone is likely to come powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset. It is said to include the ShatterShield technology to prevent the display from breaking. The phone is pegged to feature dual rear cameras and support Moto Mods accessories, AndroidAuthority reported.
