The Moto C and Moto C Plus, the cheapest Lenovo smartphones have been officially announced. The phones look similar in design but differ to some extent in specifications.

The Moto C has a 5-inch screen that offers a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and the Moto C Plus has a 5-inch HD display. Both phones are powered by MediaTek MT6737 chipset.. Both phones feature 1 GB of RAM. The C Plus also has a 2 GB RAM option. The Moto C features 8 GB of RAM whereas the Moto C Plus has 16 GB storage. Both phones have a microSD card slot.

The Moto C and C Plus feature 2-megapixel selfie camera. The former has 5-megapixel rear camera whereas the latter has 8-megapixel rear camera. Both the phones feature 3.5mm audio jack and and the standard microUSB port. The smartphones are are available in four color variants of Black, Red, Gold, and Silver.

The Moto C (3G) costs €89 ($98) and its 4G model has a pricing of €99 ($109). The Moto C Plus has a starting price of €119 ($131). These phones will be available in markets such as atin America, Europe and Asia Pacific, PlayfulDriod reported.

Lenovo is also said to be getting ready to launch of Moto E4 and the Moto E4 Plus. There have been many leaks of the Moto E4 Plus that have revealed its specs.

The Moto E4 Plus is said to carry a 5.2-inch display with 2.5D curved glass. It is speculated to come powered by MediaTek chipset. In one of fthe leaked renders, the phone appears to feature a silver-gray color. It is rumored to come in other color options as well. The smartphone is expected to boast a 5,000 mAh capacity battery and is pegged to come with the fingerprint scanner embedded on the physical Home button, BGR reported.

Other rumors claim that the phone may carry 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB storage. It is likely to sport a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The phone is rumored to run on Android 7.0 Nougat.
