The Pokemon Company has revealed an all new code for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" that unlocks Heracronite, Houndoominite, Pidgeotite and Steelixite Mega Stones. Meanwhile, the game has recently received its latest patch aimed to fix bugs and other issues.

The game developer is holding another Mega Distribution Event for "Pokemon Sun and Moon". It grants Mega Stone Gift to Pokemon Trainers and the code distributed worldwide will enable players to unlock the Heracronite, Houndoominite, Pidgeotite and Steelixite Mega Stones.

This means that all players can now get access to Mega Heracross, Mega Houndoom, Mega Pidgeot and Mega Steelix. It is noted however that gamers will not be able to get these Pokémon in the wild in the Alola region.

So, they are required to transfer them from earlier games with only two available options in order to get these Mega Stones: using the Pokemon Bank and Poke Transporter. Players must act fast not to miss this out since The Pokemon Company did not say when this distribution event will come to a close.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to unlock the mega stones in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" (via Nintendo Insider).

  1. Choose Mystery Gift on the main menu.
  2. Click Receive Gift.
  3. Select Get with Code/Password, click Yes, and then Yes again to connect to the Internet.
  4. Enter the code AZUL.
  5. Watch until Mega Stones are received.
  6. Talk to the deliveryman in any Pokémon Center to pick up the Mega Stones.
  7. Be sure to save the game

In more news, Game Freak continues to pour in more support for "Pokemon Sun and Moon". A new Update 1.2 has just been released to address several bugs and other issues found in the game since its launch.

The newest patch is fixing Pokémon that is not able to attack and switch at a time that Sky Drop is utilized including when knocked out by damage done by Spiky Shield. It also addresses a glitch in Poké Pelago when entering a new month.

It also patched the odd case where the game stops after using an Evolution item as the last item in the gamers' Bag. Scatterbug sometimes not learning Egg Moves and Eggs sometimes being able to be given items are also fixed.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" is available on Nintendo 3DS. Leaks claim that the game's version codenamed "Pokemon Stars" is reportedly coming to Nintendo Switch sometime in the near future.
