Just days after OnePlus confirmed that it was working on a new device scheduled for launch by summer, almost every detail of the OnePlus 5 was leaked online.

Slash Leaks published the complete specs sheet of the OnePlus 5. The OnePlus 5 will reportedly boast of a top-of-the-range 2.3GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset (the same processor that powers the lightning-fast Samsung Galaxy S8) coupled with 8GB of RAM. The phone would likely feature an impressive 4,000 mAh battery. In comparison, Samsung Galaxy S8 has a 3,000 mAh battery cell, and the Galaxy S8+ 3,500 mAh.

The OnePlus 5 will also sport a 23-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It also has 64GB of in-built storage, which can be expanded via microSD.

According to The Verge, the OnePlus 5 will have a 5.5inch multi-touch display with a 2560x1440 resolution. This is an improvement on the Chinese company's current flagship device, the OnePlus 3T, which has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel. Charging and syncing will be done via a USB Type-C port.
