Each symbol represents an animal for each of the main classes in "Destiny" game: Hunter, Warlock and Titan, as well as a representation of the Traveler. The Hunter hat features a snake, the Titan hat features a Lion, and the Warlock hat features an eagle.

However, YouTube channel My Name is Byf claimed that the three animal symbols in "Destiny 2" does not represent the new subclasses as he explained that animals have been featured in many in-game items like armor pieces, class items and gears, GamingBolt reported.

Although Byf did not rule out the possibility that players could have animal pets/allies in "Destiny 2's" gameplay, the fact these animal symbols will not represent new subclasses in the sequel is something of a disappointed to gaming fans.

In other news, several rumors are making rounds regarding a new twist in "Destiny 2's" plot details and will feature a world "without the Light."

According to the "Destiny 2" reveal invite, players are welcomed to a "world without light" as the Light is the core element the powers up the Guardians and their amazing abilities. Having the Light cut off from the Guardians is something of a game changers withing "Destiny 2's" gameplay. Whether that’s actually the case, or whether this is just clever marketing, remains to be seen.

In addition to rhe Light being taken out of the Guardians, the "Destiny 2" invite also revealed the fates of the Traveler and the Ghosts in the game. The invitation points out that the Traveler is now dormant in the game, since the Light has faded and their is an image of a lifeless Ghost in the invitation hinting that they too, no longer without the Light, Gamesradar reported.

The Traveler and the Ghosts are key elements in "Destiny" serving as leaders and guides to the Guardians in their quests. Now that the Light has been extinguished, a possible result of the Ghaul's Cabal invasion on the Tower, players might expect something new in "Destiny 2" soon.

Bungie and Activision will showcase the gameplay of "Destiny 2" on May 18 at 10 AM PT/ 1PM ET.

"Destiny 2" will be available on Sept. 8 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
